Google Opens 'Ananta' Campus in Bengaluru

Alphabet Inc. has inaugurated 'Ananta', one of its largest global campuses, in Mahadevapura, India — Bengaluru, India. The 1.6 million sqft facility, developed by India — Bagmane Group, can accommodate over 5,000 employees and is designed for collaboration, inclusivity, and sustainability. It features advanced architecture, eco-friendly designs like electro-chromic glass and wastewater recycling, and amenities such as walking paths, a gym, and diverse food options. The campus will house various Alphabet Inc. teams, including Android, Search, Pay, Cloud, Maps, Play, and DeepMind. This expansion underscores Alphabet Inc.'s two-decade partnership with India and its focus on accelerating innovation, particularly in AI, for both the Indian and global markets.
