Zhenhao Zou, a 28-year-old Chinese PhD student at University College London, was found guilty in a London court of drugging and raping 10 women in England and China between 2019 and 2023. Police suspect there could be more than 50 other victims. Zhenhao Zou filmed nine of the attacks as 'souvenirs' and kept 'trophy boxes' of women's belongings. He used dating apps and WeChat to befriend women, inviting them for drinks before drugging them. Zhenhao Zou was convicted of 11 counts of rape, three counts of voyeurism, 10 of possession of an extreme pornographic image, one of false imprisonment, and three of possession of a controlled drug with intent to commit a sexual offense. He will be sentenced on June 19. The United Kingdom — Metropolitan Police is appealing for more potential victims to come forward.
