Infosys Mandates 10-Day Office Work

Infosys, India's second-largest IT services company, has mandated its technology workforce to work from the office for at least 10 days a month, effective March 10, 2025. This directive applies to employees at Job Level 5 and below, including software engineers and consultants. The company will implement a new attendance system via a mobile application that will limit work-from-home requests and require physical presence. This move aims to enhance team collaboration, address concerns about moonlighting, and adapt to a slowing business environment, marking a significant shift from the remote work culture adopted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Competitors like Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro have also implemented similar return-to-office policies.
