Danone Recalls YoCrunch Yogurt
Analysis based on 10 articles · First reported Jul 14, 2025 · Last updated Jul 15, 2025
Danone U.S. has initiated a voluntary recall of all flavors and sizes of its YoCrunch yogurt products due to the potential presence of small, transparent plastic pieces in the dome toppers. The United States — Food and Drug Administration is cooperating with Danone U.S. on this recall, which was prompted by consumer complaints. The plastic pieces, ranging from 7mm to 25mm, are sharp and pose a choking hazard. The issue is isolated to the topper and does not affect the yogurt itself. Danone U.S. is working with retail partners to remove the affected products from shelves and is offering refunds to consumers.
