Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal, known as the 'Sleeping Prince' of Saudi Arabia, passed away at the age of 36 after spending 20 years in a coma. He suffered severe brain injuries in a car accident in London in 2005 when he was 15 years old. His father, Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, consistently refused to withdraw life support, holding onto hope for his son's recovery despite doctors' advice. Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal was hospitalized at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh and remained on a ventilator until his death. The Global Imams Council extended condolences to the Saudi Royal Family, including Mohammed bin Salman. Funeral prayers are scheduled to be held at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh.
