Macrons Sue Candace Owens for Defamation

The lawsuit centers on Owens' eight-part series titled 'Becoming Brigitte' and accompanying social media posts, which the Macrons claim were designed to promote Owens' platform and generate profit through sensationalism and conspiracy theories. This legal action is a rare instance of a sitting world leader personally suing a social media personality.
