Thousands of fans gathered in United Kingdom — Birmingham, England, to pay their respects to Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath, during his funeral procession. Ozzy Osbourne, who died last Tuesday at 76, was a native of United Kingdom — Birmingham and co-founded Black Sabbath in 1968, a band widely credited with defining heavy metal music. The hearse carrying Ozzy Osbourne traveled down Broad Street to the Black Sabbath bench, followed by his tearful wife Sharon Osbourne and children Kelly Osbourne and Jack Osbourne. City officials, including Zafar Iqbal and Katie Brazier of United Kingdom — Birmingham City Council, highlighted Ozzy Osbourne's importance to the city. Ozzy Osbourne, along with Black Sabbath bandmates Terence Butler, Tony Iommi, and Bill Ward, was recently awarded the Freedom of the City. He had been in poor health since his 2019 Parkinson's disease diagnosis. Ozzy Osbourne also had a successful solo career and starred in the reality show 'The Osbournes'.
