India arrests spy for Pakistan ISI

Amandeep Singh, a resident of Tarn Taran, Punjab, was arrested by Punjab, India — Punjab Police for allegedly sharing sensitive information about Indian Army movements during Operation Sindoor with Pakistan's Pakistan — Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He was reportedly in contact with Pakistan-based Khalistani supporter Gopal Singh Chawla for five years, who introduced him to Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs). Amandeep Singh also received payments from PIOs via Indian channels. Investigations are underway to trace other linkages and establish the full scope of this espionage network. An FIR has been registered under the Official Secrets Act.
