Priced at INR 3,000, the pass will be effective from August 15, 2025, and will allow unlimited toll-free travel for one year or up to 200 trips, whichever comes first. This initiative, supported by the India — National Highways Authority of India and the India — Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, aims to streamline highway travel, reduce wait times, ease congestion, and minimize disputes at toll plazas. Activation and renewal links will be available on the Rajmarg Yatra App and the official websites of NHAI and MoRTH. The policy also addresses concerns regarding toll plazas within a 60 km range, simplifying payments through a single, affordable transaction. This move is part of a broader effort to enhance India's road infrastructure, which has seen significant growth in national highway construction and investment over the last decade.
