Nine out of the ten most valued companies in India saw a combined increase of ₹ 2,34,565.53 crore in market capitalization over a week, driven by positive momentum in the equity markets, with the S&P BSE Sensex advancing by 2%. Reliance Industries recorded the highest gains, followed by Bharti Airtel and HDFC Bank. Other gainers included Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, Life Insurance Corporation, State Bank of India, and Tata Consultancy Services, and Unilever — Hindustan Unilever. Infosys was the only company among the top-10 to witness a decline in valuation. In another week, six of India's top ten most-valued companies rose by Rs 1.62 lakh crore, with Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries again leading the gains, while Bajaj Finance, Tata Consultancy Services, Unilever — Hindustan Unilever, and Life Insurance Corporation faced erosion in their market valuation.
