Vivo has officially launched its new premium foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 5, in India and China. In India, the device is priced at Rs 1,49,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, with pre-orders starting July 14 and general sales on July 30. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 6.53-inch cover AMOLED display, an 8.03-inch inner foldable AMOLED screen, and a triple 50 MP Zeiss-tuned rear camera setup. The Vivo X Fold 5 is designed to compete with other major players in the foldable market, including Samsung Electronics' upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. The device was initially introduced in China with different pricing tiers. It will be available for purchase in India via Walmart — Flipkart and the Vivo website.
