Gaiser's Bologna Misbranding Recall

Gaiser s European Style Provisions Inc. has recalled approximately 143,416 pounds of ready-to-eat bologna products nationwide. The recall was initiated after the United States — United States Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) discovered that several lunch meats contained undeclared meat or poultry not listed on their labels. This issue was identified following a complaint investigated by the United States — Office of Inspector General (United States). The affected products, produced between March 20 and June 20, 2025, include various types of bologna with undeclared pork, beef, or chicken. Consumers are advised to discard or return the products, although the FSIS has assigned a Class III risk level, indicating a low likelihood of adverse health effects.
