Hamtramck Flag Ban Upheld

This decision followed instances of a pride flag being flown in 2021 and 2022, which some members of the all-Muslim council stated clashed with their faith. Critics argued the policy violated free speech, but David Lawson affirmed that the ban was constitutional because it applied to all private flags, not just some.
