Narendra Modi Launches Youth Initiatives in India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a comprehensive set of youth-focused initiatives worth over Rs 62,000 crore in India, with a significant emphasis on India — Bihar. Key programs include PM-SETU, a Rs 60,000 crore scheme to upgrade 1,000 Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the country, supported by the World Bank Group and Asian Development Bank. Additionally, 1,200 Vocational Skill Labs have been inaugurated in schools across 34 States and Union Territories, providing hands-on training in high-demand sectors. In India — Bihar, specific projects include the revamped Mukhyamantri Nishchay Svyam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana, offering monthly allowances and free skill training to graduate youth, and the redesigned India — Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme, providing interest-free education loans. Narendra Modi also inaugurated the India — Bihar Yuva Ayog and the Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur Skill University, and laid foundation stones for new academic facilities in four universities: Patna University, Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Jai Prakash Vishwavidyalaya, and Nalanda University. The Bihta campus of National Institute of Technology, Patna, featuring a 5G lab and a Regional Academic Centre for Space in collaboration with India — ISRO, was also dedicated to the nation. These initiatives aim to integrate education, skill development, and entrepreneurship to create significant opportunities for India's youth and position India — Bihar as a hub for skilled manpower.
