Luigi Mangione Seeks Dismissal of Charges

Lawyers for Luigi Mangione have asked a New York federal judge to dismiss some criminal charges, including the death penalty count, from a federal indictment related to the December assassination of UnitedHealth Group — UnitedHealth Group's CEO, Brian Thompson. They argue that Mangione was not read his rights before questioning and that his backpack, containing a gun and ammunition, was searched without a warrant.
