Ace Frehley, Kiss Guitarist, Dies

Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist and founding member of the iconic glam rock band Kiss, passed away at the age of 74. He died peacefully in United States — Morristown, New Jersey, surrounded by his family, following complications from a recent fall that resulted in a brain bleed. Frehley, known for his 'Spaceman' persona, elaborate makeup, and signature smoking guitar effects, was instrumental in shaping Kiss's theatrical stage shows and distinctive sound. He was a founding member alongside Philip Stanley, Gene Simmons, and Peter Criss. Frehley left Kiss in 1982 to pursue a solo career and formed Frehley s Comet, but later rejoined for a successful reunion tour from 1996 to 2002. His passing marks the first death among the original four members of Kiss, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
