Atlanta Airport Shooting Averted

Billy Joel, a 49-year-old convicted felon from Cartersville, Georgia, was arrested at United States — Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport after his family tipped off police about his plan to 'shoot up' the airport. Cagle had livestreamed his intentions on social media. Upon his arrival at the airport, the United States — Atlanta Police Department, alerted by the South Africa — Tshwane Metro Police Department, quickly located and apprehended him. An AR-15 rifle with 27 rounds of ammunition was found in his Chevrolet pickup truck parked outside the terminal.
