IED Kills Four Teenagers Borno

Four teenagers were killed and one injured in Banki, Bama Local Government Area of Nigeria — Borno State, Nigeria, when an improvised explosive device (IED) they were reportedly playing with detonated. The Nigeria — Borno State Police Command, led by Commissioner Naziru Abdulmajid and represented by Public Relations Officer Nahum Kenneth Daso, confirmed the incident, mobilized Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians to the scene, and initiated an investigation. The injured boy, Mustapha Tijja, is receiving treatment at an FHI 360 NGO clinic. The police have warned the public, especially children, to avoid suspicious objects and report them to authorities.
