Godwin Mngumi, a 25-year-old security guard, was arrested by the Nigeria — Lagos State Police Command in Nigeria — Anambra State for the alleged murder of retired High Court judge Justice Ifeoma Okogwu. Justice Ifeoma Okogwu was found dead on November 24, 2025, with her hands, legs, and mouth tied, and her residence ransacked. Godwin Mngumi, who was Justice Ifeoma Okogwu's night security guard, disappeared after the incident, raising suspicions. Upon his arrest, Justice Ifeoma Okogwu's phone was recovered from him, and he confessed to the crime, implicating two accomplices, Nnaji Obalum and another suspect who is still at large. Nnaji Obalum has also been arrested, and the police are continuing their manhunt for the third individual involved.
