Man Convicted for Bradford Arson Murders

Sharaz Ali was found guilty of murdering Bryonie Gawith and her three children, Denisty Birtle, Oscar Birtle, and Aubree Birtle, in an arson attack on their home. The attack, fueled by jealousy and revenge, targeted Antonia Gawith, Bryonie's sister and Ali's former partner, who had ended their abusive relationship. Calum Sunderland, who accompanied Ali and kicked in the door, was found guilty of manslaughter. Mohammed Shabir, who drove them, died before the trial. The incident, which occurred on August 21 last year, resulted in the tragic deaths of Bryonie Gawith and her children, while Antonia Gawith managed to escape. Sharaz Ali sustained severe burns and amputations.
