Japan experienced a 6.7 magnitude earthquake off the east coast of Japan — Aomori Prefecture, leading to a tsunami advisory for the Pacific coasts of Japan — Hokkaido, Japan — Aomori Prefecture, Japan — Iwate Prefecture, and Japan — Miyagi Prefecture.
