The terror attack in India — Pahalgam and subsequent retaliatory strikes by India against Pakistan-based groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are likely to negatively impact the tourism industry in the region. Increased geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan could also lead to broader market uncertainty, particularly in defense and related sectors.
