Lionel Messi Visits Vantara Wildlife Center

Global football icon Lionel Messi, accompanied by his Inter Miami teammates Luis Suárez and Rodrigo De Paul, made a special visit to Vantara, a wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation center founded by Mukesh Ambani in Jamnagar, India. During his visit, Messi participated in traditional Hindu rituals, including a Maha Aarti, and toured Vantara's expansive conservation ecosystem, which houses various rescued animals. He interacted with big cats, herbivores, and reptiles, and visited the multi-specialty wildlife hospital. In a heartfelt gesture, Mukesh Ambani and Mukesh Ambani named a lion cub 'Lionel' in his honor. Messi also engaged in an impromptu football activity with an elephant calf named Maniklal. He praised Vantara's work and the commitment of Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, to wildlife conservation.
