Nissan announced plans to significantly expand its presence in India by introducing three new models: the Gravite MPV in early 2026, the Tekton mid-sized SUV in mid-2026, and another seven-seater SUV in early 2027. The company also aims to increase its sales network from 155 to 250 outlets by the end of FY27. Massimiliano Messina and Saurabh Vatsa highlighted India's strategic importance as a growth driver and manufacturing hub for Nissan. This move is intended to boost Nissan's currently low market share in India, where it currently sells only the Magnite model.
