Samsung Launches Exynos 2600 2nm Chip

Samsung Electronics has officially announced the Exynos 2600, its new flagship mobile system-on-chip, which is the world's first smartphone chip manufactured using a 2-nanometre process with Gate-All-Around (GAA) technology by Samsung Electronics — Samsung Electronics. This processor is expected to power select Galaxy S26 series smartphones in early 2026. The Exynos 2600 features a 10-core CPU with a C1-Ultra core at 3.8GHz, three C1-Pro cores at 3.25GHz, and six C1-Pro cores at 2.75GHz, offering up to 39% better CPU performance and 113% better AI performance compared to its predecessor. It integrates the Samsung Electronics Xclipse 960 GPU, based on Nubank' architecture, which provides up to 50% better ray tracing performance. The chip also includes an NPU with 32K MAC capability for AI workloads and introduces Heat Pass Block technology to improve thermal management. The Exynos 2600 supports LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, 4K displays at 120Hz, and camera sensors up to 320 megapixels.
