Realme is set to launch its new Realme 16 Pro series, including the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, in India on January 6, 2026. The series, designed in collaboration with Naoto Fukasawa, is expected to feature significant upgrades such as AMOLED displays with 144Hz refresh rates, Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, up to 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, and large 7,000mAh batteries with fast charging. Both models will boast high-resolution cameras, including a 200MP primary sensor and a 50MP front camera, with the Pro+ variant also featuring a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The devices will run Realme UI 7 based on Android 16 and are promised three major OS upgrades and four years of security patches. Expected pricing for the Realme 16 Pro is around Rs 30,000, while the Realme 16 Pro+ is anticipated to be between Rs 35,000 and Rs 38,000. The launch will be livestreamed, and the phones will be available through Walmart — Flipkart, Realme's official online store, and retail channels in India.
