Farmers Killed in Oyo State Attack

Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba nation activist, has raised an alarm over the alleged killing of three farmers, Aderoju Mukaila, Olawuwo Saka, and Ojeniyi Ojebayo, in his hometown of Igboho, Nigeria — Oyo State. The farmers were reportedly attacked by suspected Fula people after protesting the destruction of their farms by grazing cattle. Despite being rushed to a hospital, they succumbed to their injuries. Sunday Igboho has called on President Bola Tinubu and the Nigeria to urgently address the growing insecurity in rural communities across Nigeria — Oyo State and other parts of the South West, including areas bordering Nigeria — Kwara State and Nigeria — Kogi State, to prevent further violence and chaos. He emphasized the need for decisive action from security agencies to protect lives and property, warning that residents' patience has reached its limit.
