Mexican Navy Plane Crash Galveston

A small Mexico — Mexican Navy plane, transporting a young medical patient and seven other individuals, crashed near United States — Galveston, Texas, resulting in at least five fatalities. The plane was on a medical mission in coordination with the Michou and Mau Foundation, which provides aid to Mexican children with severe burns, often transporting them to Boston Children s Hospital. Four of the people aboard were Mexico — Mexican Navy officers and four were civilians, including a child. Two members of the Michou and Mau Foundation were also on board. The United States confirmed the death toll, and the cause of the crash is under investigation by the Mexico — Mexican Navy, United States — Federal Aviation Administration, and United States — National Transportation Safety Board. Foggy conditions were present in the area at the time of the accident, and it is unclear if weather was a contributing factor.
