Tej Pratap Yadav Death Threat

Tej Pratap Yadav, chief of India — Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) and former India — Bihar minister, has filed a police complaint against Santosh Renu Yadav, the party's expelled national spokesperson. Tej Pratap Yadav alleges that Santosh Renu Yadav issued death threats and used abusive language on social media after his expulsion from JJD on December 14. The expulsion was reportedly due to Santosh Renu Yadav working against the party's ideology and allegedly taking money by promising jobs. Tej Pratap Yadav has also sought enhanced security from India — Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister, Samrat Choudhary, who confirmed the matter is under examination. Santosh Renu Yadav, however, denies the allegations, calling them false and politically motivated, and claims he was expelled for questioning party decisions and not endorsing Tej Pratap Yadav's version of an incident. He also sought police protection, alleging that Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav do not allow other young leaders from the Yadav community to rise. This incident follows Tej Pratap Yadav's own expulsion from the India — Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) earlier in the year.
