Xiaomi — Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, officially launched its new Android tablets, the Xiaomi — Redmi Pad 2 Pro and Xiaomi — Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G, in India on January 6, 2026. The tablets feature a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, and a large 12,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Both Wi-Fi and 5G variants are available, with prices starting from INR 24,999 for the Xiaomi — Redmi Pad 2 Pro and INR 27,999 for the Xiaomi — Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G. The devices will be sold online via Amazon (company), Walmart — Flipkart, Mi.com, and offline retail stores starting January 12. Xiaomi — Redmi also introduced accessories including a keyboard, smart pen, and cover. Launch offers include instant discounts from Axis Bank, State Bank of India, and ICICI Bank, along with no-cost EMI options. The tablets run Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS 2 and are promised 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security updates.
