NNPP Nullifies Kano Chairman Suspension

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Nigeria — New Nigeria People s Party (NNPP) has nullified the purported suspension of its Nigeria — Kano State Chairman, Hashimu Dungurawa. The suspension, allegedly initiated by some executive members of the party in Gargari Ward, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Nigeria — Kano State, was declared illegal, undemocratic, and of no effect by the NWC. The party's National Publicity Secretary, Bamofin Ladipo Johnson, issued statements condemning the action as a gross act of anti-party conduct that violates the NNPP constitution. The NWC reaffirmed Hashimu Dungurawa's position, commending his leadership and contributions to the party's growth in Nigeria — Kano State. This development comes amid internal tensions within the NNPP in Nigeria — Kano State, including conflicting claims over leadership and rumors of potential political realignments, such as Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf possibly defecting to the Nigeria — All Progressives Congress. The NNPP leadership urged members to adhere to the party's constitution and maintain unity, also calling for loyalty to national leader Rabiu Kwankwaso.
