Air Canada Jet Collides at LaGuardia

A fatal collision occurred at United States — LaGuardia Airport when an Canada jet, operated by Chorus Aviation — Jazz Aviation, collided at high speed with a fire truck on the runway. The incident resulted in the deaths of the two pilots, Antoine Forest and his co-pilot, and injuries to approximately 40 passengers and crew members, as well as two individuals from the fire truck. The United States — National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation, recovering cockpit and flight data recorders for analysis.
