Teenager Jack Bolam Dies from Meningitis

Jack Bolam, a 19-year-old from Kingston Park, United Kingdom — Newcastle upon Tyne, tragically died from bacterial meningitis less than 48 hours after experiencing only mild symptoms, primarily feeling cold. His mother, Joanne Bolam, initially thought he only needed paracetamol. Jack Bolam's condition rapidly deteriorated, leading to nausea, dizziness, vomiting, and seizures. He was rushed to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, placed in an induced coma, but showed no brain activity.
