Varun Dhawan Daughter DDH Diagnosis

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan revealed that his daughter, Lara Dhawan, was diagnosed with Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) at 1.5 years old. The condition, where the hip slips out of the hip socket, can cause uneven walking and lead to early arthritis. Lara underwent a procedure and was in a spica cast for 2.5 months, but did not require surgery. Varun Dhawan shared this to spread awareness about DDH in India, emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis and treatment, as awareness and treatment availability are not as widespread as in Western countries. He urged parents to monitor their children's movements and seek paediatrician advice if they notice irregularities.
