Morningstar DBRS, a care worker employed by Ardent Care in Nottingham, stole nearly £33,000 from a blind, bed-bound veteran over a 10-month period. He transferred money from the victim's account to his own and spent it on various personal items, including OnlyFans, Greggs, McDonald's, Primark, jewellery, airsoft equipment, and holidays. Morningstar DBRS also arranged for a solicitor to visit the victim to discuss his will, with the intention of benefiting himself and his children. The fraud was discovered by the victim's social worker, and the matter was reported to the police. Morningstar DBRS pleaded guilty to fraud by abuse of position and was subsequently sentenced to 16 months in prison by United Kingdom — Nottingham Crown Court.
