The manifesto, dubbed a 'superstar,' includes a 'Illatharasi' coupon scheme worth Rs 8,000 for non-income tax paying women to purchase or replace household electronic goods. Other key promises include expanding the Chief Minister's Health Insurance scheme to Rs 10 lakh, increasing pensions for the elderly, widows, and spinsters to Rs 2,000 per month, and doubling the monthly grant under the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai to Rs 2,000. The India — Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam also pledged to expand the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme, provide free modern electric pump sets to farmers, enhance procurement prices for paddy and sugarcane, build 10 lakh new concrete houses, and create 50 lakh jobs through Rs 18 lakh crore in foreign investment.
