Troops of the Nigeria — Nigerian Army's 63 Brigade/Sector 1, Joint Task Force, South-South, Operation Delta Safe, conducted a coordinated operation in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Nigeria — Delta State. Following intelligence-led raids around Ibusa, the operation led to the arrest of 13 members of a criminal gang, including a native doctor, and two additional suspects from a cult group. A total of 13 pump-action rifles were recovered during the initial and follow-up searches in the area, including some from purported local vigilantes.
