Jonty Bravery, who is serving a life sentence for throwing a six-year-old boy off the Tate Modern balcony in 2019, has been given an additional 16-week jail sentence. This new sentence was imposed after he assaulted two nurses, Linda McKinlay and Kate Mastalerz, at Broadmoor Hospital in September 2024. Bravery kicked Ms. Mastalerz in the thigh and clawed at Ms. McKinlay's face, causing her to bleed. Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring found Bravery guilty of two counts of assault.
