Pakistan drones spotted in Jammu and Kashmir

Multiple suspected drones, originating from Pakistan, were spotted hovering over forward areas along the International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC) in India — Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday evening. The drones were observed in Samba, Rajouri, and Poonch districts, with some instances of India — Indian Army troops firing upon them. This activity follows the recovery of an arms consignment, including pistols, magazines, rounds, and a grenade, in Paloora village of Ghagwal near the IB on Friday night, which was also suspected to have been dropped by a Pakistani drone. Security forces have launched search operations in the affected areas to investigate potential infiltration or dropped materials, raising concerns about cross-border smuggling and security threats to India.
