The announcement of BTS's world tour and new album after a four-year hiatus is expected to significantly boost the entertainment and music industries. Hybe, as their management company, stands to gain substantial revenue from ticket and album sales, positively impacting its market valuation.
K-pop sensation BTS has announced a massive 2026-2027 world tour, their first full-group headline performances since 2022. The tour, spanning over 70 dates across Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and Europe, will kick off in South Korea in April 2026 and conclude in March 2027. This comeback follows a nearly four-year hiatus during which all seven members of BTS (RM, Jin, Park Ji-min, V, Sugar, Jung Kook, and j-hope) completed South Korea's mandatory military service. Rapper Sugar was the last member to be released in June 2025. The group will also release a new 14-track album on March 20, 2026, their first studio album since 2020. Presale tickets for ARMY Membership holders will be available on January 22-23 via Weverse, a platform owned by BTS management company Hybe, followed by a general sale on January 24 through platforms like Live Nation Entertainment — Ticketmaster and Live Nation Entertainment. The tour is anticipated to generate massive revenue and reinforce BTS's status as global icons.
