Rakesh Aggarwal Appointed NIA Director General

Bhavish Aggarwal, a 1994-batch Indian Police Service officer, has been formally appointed as the Director General of the India — National Investigation Agency, India's premier counter-terrorism probe body. He had previously been holding the additional charge of the post after the premature repatriation of Sadanand Date to India — Maharashtra.
