Mhow Water Contamination Hospitalizes Nine

At least nine people in India — Mhow tehsil of India — Indore district, India — Madhya Pradesh, have fallen ill and been hospitalized after consuming contaminated drinking water. Cases of water-borne diseases were reported from the Patti Bazaar and Chander Marg areas. India — Indore Collector Shivam Verma visited the affected areas and directed the United States — Health department to ensure proper treatment and the India — Delhi Cantonment to check water quality and maintain cleanliness. Personnel from the United States — Health department, under Dr. Madhav Prasad Ghimire, and a team from B. J. Medical College have been deployed. This incident follows a previous outbreak in India — Indore's Bhagirathpura area last month, where seven deaths were officially linked to water contamination, though residents claimed higher casualties.
