The interline agreement between Emirates and Air Peace is expected to positively impact the aviation, tourism, and trade sectors in Nigeria and across West and Central Africa by increasing connectivity and travel convenience. Emirates and Air Peace have activated a bilateral interline agreement, building on their existing partnership to expand air connectivity between Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. This agreement allows passengers to travel on a single ticket across select routes operated by both airlines, with baggage checked through to their final destinations. Emirates passengers can now connect to additional West African cities on Air Peace's network, including Banjul, Dakar, Freetown, and Monrovia, in addition to 13 Nigerian cities. Conversely, Air Peace can link its regional network to Emirates's hub in Dubai and key international destinations like London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and London Stansted. Adnan Kazim of Emirates and Nowell Ngala of Air Peace both emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership in strengthening aviation, tourism, and trade sectors, particularly in Nigeria, and improving access to global markets for African travelers.
