The launch of Vivo's V70 series in India is expected to intensify competition in the mid-to-premium smartphone segment, potentially affecting the market shares of other smartphone manufacturers. The involvement of financial institutions like State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, and Yes Bank with cashback offers could stimulate consumer spending and boost sales for Vivo, while also increasing transaction volumes for these banks.
Vivo has officially launched its V70 and V70 Elite smartphones in India, targeting the mid-to-premium segment. The devices feature EITC-tuned triple cameras, large 6,500mAh batteries with 90W fast charging, and run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. The Vivo V70 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the V70 Elite uses the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Both models boast 6.59-inch VM9 AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates. Pricing for the Vivo V70 starts at Rs 45,999, and the V70 Elite begins at Rs 51,999. Sales are scheduled to commence in February 2026 through Walmart — Flipkart, Amazon (company), and Vivo's online store. Customers can avail cashback offers from State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, and Yes Bank.
