These arrests were made after their alleged roles in providing logistical support to the shooters came to light. The initial investigation points to alleged links with Lawrence Bishnoi member Shubham Lonkar, who is also an accused in the Baba Siddique murder case. Hours after the firing, a threatening post surfaced on social media from an account named 'Shubham Lonkar and Arzoo Bishnoi,' claiming responsibility for the attack. The post warned Rohit Shetty and the entire Hindi cinema industry to 'stay within limits,' threatening further violence if their demands were not met, and referencing the fate of Baba Siddique. India — Greater Mumbai Police have registered a case under charges of attempt to murder and provisions of the Arms Act, with zonal police and crime branch teams actively investigating the incident.
