Kwankwasiyya Denies Kwankwaso Defection Talks

The Nigeria — Kwankwasiyya Movement political movement has vehemently denied media reports suggesting that its leader, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, is considering defecting to the Nigeria — All Progressives Congress. The movement, through its spokesperson Dr. Habibu Mohammed, stated that these claims are entirely false, baseless, and misleading. The denial comes amidst recent political realignments in Nigeria — Kano State, including the defection of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf from the Nigeria — New Nigeria People s Party to the Nigeria — All Progressives Congress. The Nigeria — Kwankwasiyya Movement movement clarified that Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has never engaged in negotiations with the Nigeria — All Progressives Congress, President Bola Tinubu, or any intermediaries for the purpose of defection. They also confirmed that the last formal meeting between Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and President Bola Tinubu in January 2024 did not involve any discussions about defection or political bargaining.
