ISS Crew Replaced After Evacuation

The International Space Station has returned to full crew strength following the arrival of four new astronauts: Jessica Meir, Jack Hathaway (both from United States — NASA), Sophie Adenot (France), and Andrei Fedyaev (Russia). They were delivered by a SpaceX launch from Cape Canaveral. This replacement was necessary after a medical evacuation last month, which was United States — NASA's first in 65 years of human spaceflight, due to a serious health issue suffered by one of the previous crew members. The early return of four astronauts left only three crew members on board, prompting United States — NASA to pause spacewalks and trim research activities. The new crew will spend eight to nine months on the International Space Station, ensuring the continuation of its mission.
