4.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Almeria, Spain

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck the Almeria province of Spain just before 1am on February 16, 2026, with its epicenter in Tabernas near the Spain — Tabernas Desert solar plant. The tremor was felt across more than 100 municipalities in at least four provinces, including Almeria, Murcia, Granada, and Jaén.
