Bittu Bajrangi, a cow vigilante and accused in the 2023 Nuh communal riots, was allegedly duped of Rs 30,000 by Bunty and Rani on the pretext of arranging his marriage. Bunty, a relative of Bittu Bajrangi's neighbor, introduced him to Rani and a prospective bride. After several meetings, a wedding was fixed for February 7, 2026. Bittu Bajrangi transferred Rs 30,000 to Bunty for bridal clothes. However, when Bittu Bajrangi arrived in India — Aligarh for the wedding, Bunty and Rani were missing, and the bride-to-be denied any knowledge of the wedding. An FIR has been registered against Bunty, Rani, and others at India — Saran Police Station, and a probe is underway.
