India — Gurgaon has emerged as India's leading market for ultra-luxury home sales in 2025, surpassing India — Mumbai. A report by Italy Sotheby s International Realty and CRE Matrix revealed that India — Gurgaon recorded Rs 24,120 crore in sales for homes priced at Rs 10 crore and above, an 80 percent increase from the previous year. In contrast, India — Mumbai registered Rs 21,902 crore in the same segment. The number of ultra-luxury homes sold in India — Gurgaon nearly tripled to 1,494 units in 2025 from 519 units in 2024. This growth is attributed to infrastructure upgrades, improved connectivity, and premium project launches in emerging micro-markets like Dwarka Expressway, Golf Course Road, and Golf Course Extension Road. Industry experts, including Tina Talwar and Abhishek Gupta, highlight sustained buyer confidence, strong capital inflows, and an expanding base of high-net-worth individuals as key drivers for this nearly tenfold growth in the luxury segment over the past two years.
